Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. Your new features will be available immediately, and we'll prorate the cost based on your billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my storage limit?
You'll be notified before reaching your limit. You can either upgrade to a higher plan or purchase additional storage at $0.02/GB per month.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. Your data will remain accessible until the end of your billing period, and backups will be retained according to their retention policy.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! Our Free tier lets you try LOX with 5GB of storage. Paid plans also offer a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Why does egress ratio vary between plans?
We aim to keep your most recent backup in fast-access storage to meet our recovery SLA targets (as fast as 15 minutes for Enterprise). For plans with longer retention (90-365 days), older historical backups are moved to archive storage to optimize costs. The 0.5x egress ratio on higher plans accounts for the occasional retrieval of these older backups, but it's still 5x more than typical professional usage (~10% monthly). In practice, most recoveries use the latest backup, so you'll rarely exceed your egress limit.
